Today I’m delighted to share with you my new live art show here in France! It's taking place in the beautiful “Village d’Artistes” in Rablay-sur-Layon. If you happen to be in the area (find directions HERE) I would love for you to stop by! There are lots of art, wine and delightful little villages around here.
And if you can’t make it in person, I hope you will enjoy the pictures below. My photographer Christelle stopped by on installation day, so today I'm sharing plenty of backstage sneaky peeks, and for once, you get to see the Laly-William team in action!
One of the things I love most about this show, is that it not only has all of my latest art, including some I've never shared before (the new series of nine minis called "Unfurl"), but also some of my earlier paintings, especially one I didn't feel ready to let go of until now ("Compassion"). It feels so good to see them all together, each one a step on my journey.
I also love the atmosphere they create as a whole, filling the two little rooms with serene and uplifting good vibes. Even if you can’t make it to the live event, I hope you were able to feel a little bit of it here!
No matter what my weekly schedule may look like, it's important to me to remember that I'm an artist who teaches, not a teacher who occasionally makes art! That's why it's so important for me to share the art I create with the world. It's scary, and exciting and fulfilling all at the same time, and it's part of my life purpose. I hope it will touch your heart.
