Autumn is here in France and it might well be my favorite season (until next Spring when I change my mind again!). There’s always something so heart-warming and cosy this time of year. Something poetic that invites you to tune within, reconnect to yourself and to the natural world…
“And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.”
To me, it’s also a special time to connect to the trees. Their glorious colors, the sound of leaves crunching under my feet, the sky that starts peeking through the branches more and more… Their magic and wisdom.
Inspired by this sense of introspection and enchantment, I have created an art journaling lesson for Life Book 2019, and it goes live today!
Once upon a time, there was a forest, and it was filled with magic...
In fairy tales, the forest is always a mysterious place of transformation and initiation. A sacred space out of time, where heroes and heroines become who they truly are, to come back to the world with more wisdom and self-knowledge. The trees provide shelter and whisper stories, while magical animals offer guidance and comfort along the journey.
In the dark retreat of the woods, our light has time to grow, brighter and stronger, until we’re ready to let it guide us back into the world…

This season is also an opportunity to focus on what really matters before the year comes to an end. I have plenty of projects at the moment and the most important for me right now is to fully embrace the ARTIST part of me (after such an intense year as a teacher!).
