I got so much amazing feedback about last week’s tutorial on making your own art journal, and I’m so excited for everyone who’s created their first handmade journal. So I thought today we’d keep going with another free video!
Another question I often get is “What are your favorite art supplies for art journaling?”. I’m sharing it all today, together with some handy tips on how to set up your space in a way that’s both practical and inspiring. I hope you will enjoy it!

As always, the best advice I can give you is to first work with what you already have, and already love. When it comes to mixed media and art journaling, there are so many possibilities, and new supplies coming out all the time. But after years of practice, I find that I don’t need that much and always come back to the same basics, plus just a few fun ones.
