Right now, I’m in one of those “in-between” moments, one of those liminal spaces where everything seems to slow down and freeze, holding its breath before the next big leap… which happens tomorrow!

I’m feeling stuck, Yippee!… That’s right, since the holidays I have been feeling totally and utterly STUCK. The Artist Block in all its glory! If you’re a creative in any field at all, I’m sure this is something you can relate to, because it’s 100% part of the creative process. In the studio: Sometimes I really feel the urge to create something moody, something that feels like a stormy sky, where light and shadow dance together, where the rain washes away the layers of doubt and fear, leaving me renewed and just little bit raw. Just a little bit more me.

Today I'm sharing the story behind the creation of my new class Little Book of Whispers... It is a journey, a quiet one, a gentle one, born in little pockets of time amidst the roars of the world. A little bubble of stillness to reconnect with the not-so-loud part of ourselves and create beauty from this sacred and fragile inner place.

Oh how good it feels to be painting big again! This new work, titled "Imagine", has been such a beautiful, joyful, relaxing journey... In fact I've enjoyed it so much that I have started a whole new grid-based series.
